CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of the 9th Ayurveda Day, various programs were inaugurated at the Silver Jubilee Auditorium of Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government (Autonomous) Ayurveda Institute in Bhopal on the theme “Ayurvedic Innovation for Global Health.” Discussions were held on the importance of the Indian medical system, Ayurveda, for achieving a healthy body.
During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre and Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government Ayurveda Institute to promote research and studies in Ayurveda. Students who performed excellently were also awarded to encourage them.
Stalls set up by the students were visited, where Ayurvedic dishes prepared by them were tasted, and they shared insights about the creation of these recipes.
The event was attended by MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani (Bhopal Southwest), Vaidya Pt. Gopal Das Mehta (Patron, World Ayurveda Council), Vaidya Madhusudan Deshpande (Ojas Foundation), Manisha Srivastava (Director, Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre), Karunesh Kumar Shukla (Director, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal), Umesh Shukla (Principal), and other faculty members and students.
