CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the able leadership of AYUSH Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Mishra, the AYUSH Department successfully implemented a strategic plan for the surprise inspection of AYUSH dispensaries across the state to improve the overall functioning of subordinate AYUSH institutions.
With the objective of encouraging medical officers to provide better healthcare services to patients visiting these dispensaries, a surprise inspection of 108 AYUSH institutions was carried out. As part of the program, divisional and district officers of the AYUSH department conducted inspections of two dispensaries each across the state starting from 9 a.m.
At 5 p.m., Commissioner Mishra held a detailed discussion with all divisional AYUSH officers via Google Meet regarding the shortcomings observed during the inspections. He provided necessary instructions on how to improve the management of the dispensaries, increase OPD attendance, and enhance the department’s outreach to patients.
He also stated that he would directly interact with all the medical professionals posted in AYUSH dispensaries through video conferencing, and departmental officers have been directed to ensure that the benefits of the AYUSH medical system are made available to a larger population of the state.
