CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal’s AYUSH department organized a workshop at the ITBP camp located in Kanha Saiya on the occasion of the ninth National Ayurveda Day.

The objective of this program was to promote the integration of traditional and modern medical practices. On this occasion, Prof. Singh stated that despite being an allopathic hospital, AIIMS Bhopal is making positive contributions in the field of Ayurveda. The team of doctors at AIIMS focuses on joint programs while understanding the characteristics of both medical systems. It is essential for every section of society to understand the fundamental principles of Ayurveda.

While emphasis is placed on a healthy lifestyle at the ITBP, mental health is equally important for the soldiers. In today’s world, Ayurveda must walk hand in hand with modern medicine so that we can not only treat patients but also establish a healthy and happy society. Compared to other AIIMS, AIIMS Bhopal has excellent facilities for AYUSH, and we are moving forward with a positive outlook on Ayurveda.”

On this occasion, Danish Javed, Ranjana Pandey, Bhavana Sharma, and Sanjeevani Magarde delivered lectures on various topics. The doctors from AIIMS also conducted a physical examination of all the soldiers and provided them with dietary advice. They were also informed about the identification of commonly used herbs and their medicinal applications.
