CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Five Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in Bhopal Receive National Quality Assurance Certification
Under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) awarded for excellence in healthcare services, five Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in Bhopal have been officially certified for their high performance.
As per the certification issued by the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), the following health centers qualified with impressive scores:
Ayushman Arogya Mandir Arwaliya – 95.63%
Ayushman Arogya Mandir Mindhora Mindhori – 93.80%
Ayushman Arogya Mandir Nalkheda – 86.08%
Ayushman Arogya Mandir Laloi – 85.98%
Ayushman Arogya Mandir Kuthar – 84.04%
Previously, in February, four other centers in Bhopal—Eintkhedi, Surajpura, Khajuri Sadak, and Raipur—were also awarded the NQAS certification.
Comprehensive Evaluation in March 2025
These centers were evaluated in March, during which officials examined health records and assessed the quality of patient services. The evaluation also included interviews with Community Health Officers (CHOs), ANMs, and ASHA workers, with a focus on their capabilities and service delivery feedback.

A checklist of seven service packages is used for assessment, including:
Maternal and child healthcare
Child and adolescent health services
Family welfare services

Outreach activities
Implementation of national health programs
Commitment to Quality in Public Healthcare
Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal, Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari, congratulated the healthcare centers on receiving the certification. He stated,
“This recognition inspires us to perform even better. Delivering services aligned with quality standards is a top priority for the administration.”
