CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A program was organized at the Journalism Department of MCU on the birth anniversaries of youth icon Chandrashekhar Azad and eminent editor and freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak, during which students shared their thoughts.
The students said that Chandrashekhar Azad sacrificed his life for the freedom of the country. He was deeply patriotic from childhood. His life and sacrifice inspire us to fulfill our duties towards the nation.

Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak ignited the flame of independence through journalism. He strongly advocated for ‘Complete Independence’ (Purna Swaraj). He published renowned newspapers like Kesari and Maratha. He also authored significant books. He transformed Ganesh Utsav into an extraordinary medium of dialogue and communication.
On this occasion, Department Head Rakhi Tiwari, Senior Assistant Professors Lokendra Singh and Ranjan Singh, Adjunct Professor Shivkumar Vivek, and Anup Dutta were present.
The Journalism Department of MCU celebrated the birth anniversaries of freedom fighters Chandrashekhar Azad and Bal Gangadhar Tilak with great enthusiasm.
