CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “In the Constitution Park of the Development Building at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication in MP Nagar, the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was celebrated. On this occasion, a floral tribute and homage program were organized. The program, organized by the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Cell, was chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. K.G. Suresh. In the program, the coordinator of the SC-ST Cell, Pradeep Daheriya, and the co-coordinator Gyaneshwar Dhoke were specially present.
While chairing the program, Vice-Chancellor Suresh described Baba Saheb as a symbol of harmony and fraternity. He said that Baba Saheb’s ideology has been progressive and forward-thinking. Suresh said that Baba Saheb is not a symbol of any particular class but is a symbol of the entire nation, the entire world, and the entire society.
Prof. Suresh said that now every year the main program of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s Jayanti will be held at the Development Building premises, along with a lecture program at the new campus in Bishankhedi, Makhnapuram. In his address, Suresh said that Baba Saheb was against the creation of Pakistan and was against division. He also wrote about cow conservation and the Uniform Civil Code in the Constitution. He also mentioned the need for amendments to the Constitution from time to time. Considering today’s day very important, he also expressed his thoughts on taking it towards the future.
Prof. Suresh described Baba Saheb as a symbol of harmony and fraternity. He said that Baba Saheb was of progressive and forward-thinking ideology. He urged all the students and participants in the program to walk on the path of Baba Saheb. Along with this, Vice-Chancellor Suresh also mentioned about the four major awards received by the university in Mumbai. He credited all the members, officials, and employees for the university earning so much fame.
In the program, co-coordinator of the SC-ST Cell, Gyaneshwar Dhoke, shed light on Baba Saheb’s life from childhood to his education and struggles. Meanwhile, the coordinator of the cell, Pradeep Daheriya, talked about the notable contributions and works of Baba Saheb. Secretary-General Prof. Dr. Avinash Vajpayee said that Baba Saheb used to worry a lot about the last line people and his focus was on bringing them into the mainstream. Baba Saheb aimed to bring them into the mainstream. On this occasion, Production Director Ashish Joshi, Production Assistant Priyanka Sonkar, and student Ayushi Gajbhiye also expressed their views.
The program was conducted by Deputy Secretary Vivek Shakya and Assistant Engineer Mukesh Chaudhary. On this occasion, the Head of the Department of Communication Research, Rakhi Tiwari, Director ASI Babita Agrawal, Deputy Secretary and Director of Development Building Premises Vivek Savrikar, teachers, officers, employees, and students were specially present. After the conclusion of the program, a rally was taken from the Development Building premises to the statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar at Board Office Square. Vice-Chancellor Suresh flagged off the rally with a green flag. At the statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar at Board Office Square, everyone paid homage by offering flowers.”
