CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has brought significant and transformative changes in the education system. With a renewed commitment, Madhya Pradesh is steadily progressing towards an India-centric and philosophy-enriched education system.
In line with the National Education Policy 2020, the state government has established schools under the CM Rise Scheme to ensure access to quality education for all. This initiative aims to eliminate poverty as a barrier to education, recognizing the struggles of underprivileged parents. Through the CM Rise Schools, students from all backgrounds can equally access quality and affordable education.
Minister Inder Singh Parmar’s Address
These remarks were made by Inder Singh Parmar, Minister for Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH, during the unveiling ceremony of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s statue at the Bhimrao Ambedkar CM Rise School in Gaulana, Shujalpur Assembly, Shajapur district, on Tuesday.
During the event, Minister Parmar unveiled the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the renowned polymath, jurist, economist, politician, and social reformer. He highlighted that when the first CM Rise School was established in the state, it was named in honor of Dr. Ambedkar. He emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar dedicated his life to social justice and equal rights for all, considering education as the most powerful tool for societal transformation.
Minister Parmar urged students to draw inspiration from Dr. Ambedkar’s struggles, adopt his ideals, and work towards becoming patriotic and honest citizens contributing to nation-building.
Commitment to Quality Education & Infrastructure
Minister Parmar assured students of the government’s commitment to providing quality and employment-oriented higher education locally. He announced that a college would soon be inaugurated in Gaulana, enabling students to pursue higher education without relocation.
He encouraged students to engage in discussions on great personalities’ teachings and implement their values in life. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of being grateful to four sacred entities—Motherland, Birthplace, Rivers like Ganga, and Gau Mata (Mother Cow), fostering a lifelong sense of respect and gratitude.
Vision for a Stronger India
Minister Parmar urged students to continuously strive for excellence and actively contribute to nation-building. He envisioned that through collective efforts, India would reclaim its position as a global leader by the centenary year of independence.
