The two shared identical statements on their respective social media accounts on August 31, saying they had decided to separate by mutual consent and with respect for each other.
In their statement, Badshah and Isha appealed to people to respect their privacy and not speculate about their relationship. They made it clear that this would be their final statement on the matter. However, they did not publicly disclose any reason for the separation.
The two were married in a private ceremony in March 2026. Their relationship had remained away from media attention for a long time and, according to reports, they had been in a relationship for about four years before getting married. Isha later confirmed her marriage on social media.
In July, some of Isha’s social media posts had intensified discussions about a rift in their relationship. However, at the time, Badshah and Isha did not publicly give any clear response to the speculation. With their joint statement now, discussions about the future of their relationship have come to an end.
Isha Rikhi is a well-known actress in the Punjabi film industry and has also appeared in the Bollywood film “Nawabzaade”. Badshah is a popular rapper and singer in the Indian music industry.
This marks the end of Badshah’s second marriage. He was previously married to Jasmin Masih. The two finalised their divorce in 2020 and also have a daughter.
