Singer and rapper Badshah has denied reports that he and his team were fined ₹15,500 by the Gurugram traffic police for violating traffic rules.

In an Instagram story, Badshah clarified, “Bro, I don’t even own a Thar, nor was I driving that day. I was being driven in a white Vellfire, and we always drive responsibly, whether it’s vehicles or life.”

Official Statement from Badshah’s Team

On Tuesday night, Badshah’s team released an official statement refuting the allegations of traffic violations. They clarified that the claims of driving on the wrong side after Karan Aujla’s concert in Delhi-NCR on December 15 were entirely false. They added that no vehicle belonging to Badshah or his team had been fined.

The team further stated that they are cooperating fully with the investigation and assured that the truth will soon come to light.

Details of the Incident

Badshah attended Karan Aujla’s concert in Sector 68, Gurugram, on December 15. During the event, some vehicles in his convoy reportedly drove on the wrong side of the road, leading to questions on social media. Following viral posts, the police initiated action.

About the Thar

On December 16, the Gurugram traffic police issued a fine of ₹15,500 for a black Thar vehicle, seizing CCTV footage of the incident. According to the police, the Thar linked to the alleged violation is registered under the name of a resident from Panipat.
