CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Deputy Commissioner of Police (Intelligence & Security), Urban Police Bhopal, Sonakshi Saxena (IPS), has announced that during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Bhopal, strict security measures have been implemented.

To ensure VVIP security, a 5-kilometer radius around the Kushabhau Thakre Convention Center (Minto Hall) and Indira Gandhi National Museum, Shyamla Hills, Bhopal has been declared a Red Zone and No-Fly Zone. Within this area, the operation of drones, paragliders, hot air balloons, and other flying objects has been strictly prohibited.

This order will be in effect from February 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM until February 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Violation of this directive will result in legal action under Section 223 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) 2023.

Commercial flights are exempt from this restriction.
