CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In the Inter-University Central Youth Festival 2025–26 organized by the Association of Indian Universities, Barkatullah University Bhopal delivered an outstanding performance, securing first place in the Mime category among the 30 participating universities yesterday.
The university team also achieved the following positions:
Third place in Cartooning
Second place in Overall Theatrical Arts
Fourth place in Poster Making
Fifth place in Group Dance
Fifth place in Clay Modelling
Fifth place in Elocution
This Central Regional Youth Festival was organized at MGM University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), a private and self-financed state university.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Jain praised the team’s remarkable performance, extending heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all team members.
He stated that today’s youth hold immense hidden talent, and it is our responsibility to nurture these abilities and shape their future. The students demonstrated exceptional skills.
The entire Youth Festival program was led by Dean of Student Welfare and Proctor, Prof. Pawan Mishra.
The university team was accompanied by Dr. Yugal Sarale from Betul as the male team manager and Dr. Manorama Harda as the female team manager. Dr. Shivdayal Sahu was also present throughout the event.
The 50-member delegation is returning to Bhopal tonight.
