CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The grand inauguration of the University’s first annual cultural festival was held at Barkatullah University, Bhopal. On this occasion, the university campus was filled with enthusiasm, excitement, and vibrant cultural colors. The event was organized by the Department of Student Welfare.
The Chief Executive Officer of the program was Ila Tiwari. The event was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Suresh Kumar Jain. Prof. Pawan Mishra (Dean) and Prof. Anshuaja Tiwari (Cultural Coordinator) were present on the dais as distinguished guests.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Ila Tiwari said that such cultural events help in developing self-confidence, leadership qualities, and social awareness among students. She encouraged students to actively participate in cultural activities along with their academic pursuits.
Vice-Chancellor Suresh Kumar Jain stated that this first annual festival of the university is a significant initiative toward providing a platform for students’ creativity and talent. Extending his best wishes to all participants, he added that a connection with culture plays an important role in personality development.

Prof. Pawan Mishra, while outlining the program, informed that this is the university’s first annual festival, featuring various inter-departmental cultural competitions. On the first day, competitions such as dance, singing, mimicry, poster making, and painting were inaugurated, with enthusiastic participation from students of different departments.
Prof. Anshuaja Tiwari, the Cultural Coordinator, stated that the objective of the festival is to bring out the hidden talents of students and provide them with opportunities for creative expression. In the coming days, activities such as a short film competition, food stalls, Anand Mahotsav, and other cultural programs will be organized.
A large number of students, faculty members, and staff were present on the first day. The program was successfully conducted and organized by the Office of the Dean, Department of Student Welfare.
