On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, the Central Library of Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Bhopal, organized a Saraswati Puja ceremony. The event commenced with a melodious rendition of Saraswati Vandana by the students, invoking Goddess Saraswati, the deity of wisdom, music, education, and arts.
On this occasion, the Principal of the college, Dr. Dalima Parwani, addressed the students and faculty members. She emphasized that Goddess Saraswati symbolizes knowledge, and without her blessings, the world would be engulfed in ignorance. She encouraged students to focus on skill development and self-confidence, essential for enhancing their abilities and building a successful future.
Students and faculty members shared their insights on the significance of Basant Panchami, highlighting the importance of wisdom, intellect, and knowledge promoted through this festival. To make the event more inspirational, the Central Library organized a special book exhibition, featuring motivational and insightful works of the institution’s chairman, Siddh Bhauji. This exhibition proved to be highly beneficial for students and staff members.
