CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh has directed District Program Officers to ensure the availability of clean drinking water, electricity connections, and functional toilets in all Anganwadi centers. He also emphasized that Anganwadi centers must open on time and distribute nutritional meals to children regularly.
Commissioner Singh issued these directives while chairing the divisional review meeting of the Women and Child Development Department at the Commissioner’s Office Conference Hall. The meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner Vinod Yadav, Joint Director of the Women and Child Development Department Mrs. Naki Jahan Qureshi, and all District Program Officers.
Commissioner Singh reviewed the progress of Anganwadi building constructions and instructed officials to complete the projects within the stipulated time frame. He also directed them to resolve pending complaints on the CM Helpline and expedite cases under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.
During the review of various schemes under Mission Vatsalya, Commissioner Singh instructed officials to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive sponsorships and benefit from schemes such as PM CARES for Children, Mukhyamantri Bal Aashirwad Yojana, After Care, Post Care, and Mukhyamantri COVID Bal Seva Yojana.
Additionally, he directed regular monitoring of children’s nutrition levels in Anganwadi centers through the Poshan Tracker, including updates on THR status, HCM status, and the Mukhyamantri Bal Arogya Samvardhan Program.
