The Hindi Fortnight celebration at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) concluded successfully. During the closing ceremony, Santosh Choubey, Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University and a prominent literary figure, was honored with the ‘Sahitya-Shri’ award. The award was presented by Manisha Srivastava, Acting Director of BMHRC. Director Choubey expressed his gratitude to BMHRC for the literary honor.

In his address to the audience, Choubey emphasized that language has a vast scope. Hindi is the language of our traditions, festivals, and culture. He credited Hindi for his personal achievements, stating that a thought or a book can have a global impact. Hindi is the largest language in the world, and for its expansion, it is essential to respect other languages and dialects as well. He expressed optimism about the bright future of Hindi, noting that major companies now need professionals who can work in Hindi.

Manisha Srivastava thanked Director Santosh Choubey for attending the event. During the closing ceremony, winners of various competitions held during the Hindi Fortnight were honored, along with the recipients of the Hindi Promotion Scheme awards.
