The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken into custody Shabbir, a significant suspect linked to the Bengaluru cafe blast, from Ballari, Karnataka. With suspicions of possessing information about the explosion, Shabbir was detained based on his travel history, and an ongoing interrogation is in progress. Meanwhile, the primary suspect, whose CCTV images have been released, remains at large, following the March 1 blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Brookfield, Bengaluru, injuring at least nine individuals. This development comes a week after the NIA detained a cloth merchant from the same Ballari area, believing both men are involved in plotting the blast.
