CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Faculty of Pharmacy at Bhabha University organized the Third National Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Day 2025 in the university’s seminar hall with great solemnity.
This year’s theme was — “Quality First: Promoting Excellence Through cGMP Awareness.”
The program was presided over by Prof. Shailesh Kumar Ghatuwari, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. In his inspiring address, he stated, “Good Manufacturing Practices are not merely rules but symbolize scientific discipline, technical excellence, and ethical responsibility.” He urged students to embrace a culture of quality in pharmaceutical manufacturing and contribute to strengthening India as the “Pharmacy of the World.”
The keynote speaker, Shiv Prasad Mishra, CQA Head at ACUMS Pharmaceutical Limited, Haridwar, provided detailed insights into the importance of cleanroom technology, automation, and quality control systems in drug manufacturing.
During the program, students and faculty took the “cGMP Awareness and Quality Commitment Pledge” through the official IDMA web portal, committing to uphold quality, safety, and ethics in pharmaceutical manufacturing, education, and research.
Special attendees included Dr. Satkar Prasad (Principal, R.K.D.F. School of Pharmaceutical Science), Dr. O.P. Agrawal (Principal, B.P.R.I.), Satyavan Dangi (Principal, R.K.D.F. Institute of Pharmacy Science), and Rajni Deshpande (Principal, B.P.P.).
The program was successfully conducted, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Rajni Deshpande. Dr. Manoj Shukla, Group Director of Bhabha University, graced the event with his presence, adding grandeur to the occasion.
The presence of all faculty members and students of the Pharmacy Faculty contributed significantly to the success of the program.
