CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Bhabha University, a grand celebration of Engineer’s Day was organized on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
The chief guests of the program were Engineer Vaibhav Yadav, Deputy General Manager, High Voltage Maintenance Division, Bhopal City, and Engineer Harshit Tiwari, Sub-Divisional Officer, Public Health Engineering Department, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh.

The program began with the worship of Goddess Saraswati and lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Dilip Kumar De, welcomed the guests with bouquets, shawls, and coconuts as a mark of honor. On this occasion, Dr. De highlighted the remarkable contributions of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.

The event commenced with the inauguration of the Sir Visvesvaraya Auditorium, conducted by the guests. Following this, Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. N. K. Agrawal explained the importance of Engineer’s Day. Students presented various colorful cultural performances, among which the performances by Navya Mishra, Akshat Soni, and Shikha Dangi were especially notable.

In his address, Chief Guest Engineer Vaibhav Yadav emphasized that bringing any plan into reality requires the contribution of many, but its smooth execution can only be ensured by an engineer. Special Guest Engineer Harshit Tiwari motivated the students by explaining how systematic preparation is the key to success.
The event was also graced by Registrar Shyam Patkar, Director Manoj Kumar Shukla, Vijay Kumar Punj, Dr. Namish Mehta, Controller of Examinations Dr. Shailesh Raghuvanshi, along with all deans of faculties, department heads, teachers, and students.
The program was conducted by Pramod Rathore, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ashok Jhala.
