CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhabha University Students Lead Cleanup Drive at Kaliasot Dam Around 100 students and faculty members from Bhabha University participated in a cleanup drive at Kaliasot Dam, clearing it of waste and making it trash-free. The campaign also included support from Kabadiwala’s Zero Eco Club.

The initiative carried a strong message of collective responsibility towards creating a more sustainable and livable city for future generations. It aimed to instill environmental responsibility and mark the New Year with positive actions. Participants pledged to take concrete steps to promote environmental conservation.

The cleanup drive saw active participation from prominent members of Bhabha University, including Group Director Manoj Kumar Shukla, Shailesh Kumar Ghatware, Suresh Gawande, Satkar Prasad, Dr. Anurag, Manoj Sahu, Prof. Reena Shende, and Prof. Prashant.

Objective of the Campaign:

Remove plastic waste, debris, and other pollutants.

Improve water quality.

Protect biodiversity in and around the dam.

The active involvement of students and faculty made the campaign both successful and inspiring, encouraging more efforts toward environmental sustainability.
