CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the auspices of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Bhabha University and with the guidance of the Pharmacy Council of India, the 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week is being enthusiastically celebrated until 24 September 2025.
The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp and presentation of a bouquet by Chief Guest Neeraj Maurya and senior officials. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dilip Kumar De welcomed the Chief Guest.
In the inaugural session, Dean Prof. Shailesh Kumar Ghatwari presented an introduction to pharmacovigilance and elaborated on its importance. This year’s theme is — “Your Safety, Just a Click Away: Report to PvPI.”

The week-long celebration includes a variety of activities such as a rally, oral presentations, essay and debate competitions, quiz, street plays, panel discussions, online certificate courses, reel-making competitions, and poster presentations.
On the first day, students organized an awareness rally on ADR (Adverse Drug Reactions) and spread messages through posters.
The event witnessed the presence of Vice Chancellor Dilip Kumar De, Pro Vice Chancellor N. K. Agrawal, Registrar Shyam Patkar, Group Director Manoj Shukla, CAO Vijay Kumar Punj, along with Deans, Principals, faculty members, and a large number of students.
All the distinguished guests appreciated the event and the active participation of students. Vice Chancellor Dilip Kumar De stated — “Pharmacovigilance is today an integral part of healthcare services. The rally and creative activities by students will provide a new direction to drug safety and patient awareness in society.”
