CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited Sikar district on Thursday. He began his visit with darshan of Baba Shyam at the famous Khatu Shyamji temple and offered prayers as per rituals. During the visit, he prayed for peace, prosperity and happiness for the people of the state.

After visiting Khatu Shyamji Dham, the Chief Minister reached Fatehpur, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development works in the Shekhawati region at a programme. According to available reports, 83 development works linked to Sikar, Churu and Jhunjhunu districts were launched, with a total cost stated to be more than Rs 12,000 crore.

The Chief Minister’s programme also included interaction with the people of the region and beneficiaries, along with the development works. The schedule of the visit included a public meeting in Fatehpur as well as interaction with BJP workers and office-bearers. The administration made security and other necessary arrangements at the programme venue for the Chief Minister’s visit.

During the visit, emphasis was laid on taking forward works related to roads, education, infrastructure and other development in the Shekhawati region. The Chief Minister’s Sikar visit included both a religious programme and government events linked to development projects.
