CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal / New Delhi : Preparations for the Bharatiya Gyan Parampara Olympiad 2025, organized with the aim of introducing Indian culture and tradition to the younger generation, are in the final stage. The registration process for the Olympiad, jointly conducted by Central Sanskrit University, Delhi, and Little Guru, has been successfully completed. Nearly 19,600 participants from across the country have registered, confirming their participation.
Prof. Srinivasa Varkhedi, Vice-Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, stated that such a large number of students and researchers participating reflects the deep interest of the youth in India’s knowledge traditions and cultural heritage. He expressed gratitude to all participants, as well as to the support of parents, teachers, and institutions.
Prof. Madan Mohan Jha, Dean of Student Welfare at the University, said the main objective of this Olympiad is to deepen the understanding of Indian knowledge systems, culture, and traditions, and to develop awareness and interest among the new generation. The Olympiad will also offer a unique opportunity for students to explore various dimensions of Indian culture.
Chief Coordinator Amrita Kaur provided detailed information and shared that the online exam for Classes 6 to 12 will be held on Monday, 11th August 2025, while the exam for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. levels will be conducted on Tuesday, 12th August 2025. On both days, the exam window will be open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Each participant will be given 1 hour to complete the exam, which will be entirely online. Candidates can take the test anytime within the specified time window. The exam link will be activated on the official website www.sanskritolympiad.in on the respective exam date.
Coordinator Yogendra Dixit informed that the Olympiad’s question paper will include topics related to Indian philosophical thought, culture, literature, science, and ancient Indian achievements. Participants who perform exceptionally will receive certificates and awards. The organizing committee has completed all necessary preparations to make the examination simple, transparent, and technologically accessible.
