CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Indian People’s Party’s National Vice President and senior journalist Prabhat Jha has passed away and was immersed in the five elements. He died in Delhi. BJP’s prominent leader and Minister of New and Renewable Energy for the Madhya Pradesh government, Rakesh Shukla, attended the final journey of Prabhat Jha.

Minister Shukla visited the ancestral village of Koriyahi in the Sursand block of Sitamarhi district, Bihar, where the late Prabhat Jha hailed from. Before participating in the last rites, Minister Shukla met with Prabhat Jha’s wife Ranjana Jha, sons Tamsul Jha, Ayatn Jha, and other family members including his brothers Pradeep Jha, Prafull Jha, and Gajendra Jha to offer condolences. He also assured them of his continuous support as a family member.

The late Prabhat Jha’s professional base was Madhya Pradesh, especially the city of Gwalior in the Chambal region. He made his mark in journalism through the RSS publication Swadesh and initially served in the BJP as the media communication chief in Bhopal. Subsequently, he served as the editor of the BJP’s main publication, Kamal Sandesh, and held national positions in the party.
