Known as the ‘tree teacher,’ Bhakhar initiated the ‘Plant Trees, Save Life’ campaign in 1999 by planting 50 saplings in Dhola Akra. Since joining the Rajasthan education department in 2002, he has pledged one month’s salary annually to tree planting efforts, currently earning ₹90,000 per month.

Bhakhar has traveled over 32,000 km across Rajasthan, conducting street meetings and visiting schools to educate communities about environmental conservation. His campaign has connected 1.6 lakh individuals, focusing on protecting and replanting indigenous trees.
