CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University has been accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, to conduct 32 programs. Among these, 23 programs will be conducted through open and distance education, and 9 programs will be conducted in online mode. Most of these programs are related to management and computer science.
These programs include postgraduate diplomas in various subjects such as data science, artificial intelligence, cyber security, logistics and supply chain management, travel and tourism management, rural management, tribal management, energy management, event management, digital marketing, cyber law, design thinking, and healthcare management. The number of seats in these programs will also be limited.
All these programs are vocational and will assist students in obtaining employment. Prof. Sanjay Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University, stated that the university has received a recommendation for the operation of these 32 programs from Prof. Rajeev Kumar, Secretary of the All India Council for Technical Education.
The STEM MBA program is the only one operated by Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University in the state. Through these programs, students of Madhya Pradesh will have the opportunity to study various management and computer science-related courses through open and distance education and online mediums.
This will also result in an increase in the enrollment ratio in higher education. Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University, Bhopal, is the only government-recognized “A” grade university.
