CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of a water tank to be built at a cost of Rs 2.27 crore under the Amrit 2.0 scheme in Chuna Bhatti of the South West Assembly constituency.
After the water tank is completed, residents of Amrapali Chhatrapati Colony, Sterling Phase 1 and 2, Soma Vihar, Lake Palace, Yashoda Vihar, Janki Bungalow, Amaltas Phase-3, Amaltas Phase-1, Krishna Society, Globus City, Ishwar Nagar, Sagar Garden, Soma Vihar, Amaltas Paraspar and Shri Krishna Society will get clean water in adequate quantity.
Bhagwandas Sabnani said, "It is our duty to expand the basic amenities of citizens. Basic facilities such as roads, electricity and water are being continuously expanded. We are residents of Bhopal, the city of lakes. There is no shortage of water in our city, but there is a need to use it in limited quantity and not misuse water at all. I would also like to appeal to all of you that the rainy season is approaching, and residents of all societies should plant as many saplings as possible and adorn Mother Earth. With the cooperation of all of you, we will make our Assembly constituency an ideal Assembly constituency."
Presidents of all the societies, residents and BJP workers were present on the occasion.
