CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An inter-departmental coordination and review meeting was held in the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of Collector Priyank Mishra in view of the orderly, dignified and time-bound organisation of the grand Army Day Parade to be held in the state capital Bhopal on January 15, 2027.
The meeting discussed in detail the clear division of all responsibilities related to the event, inter-departmental coordination and an action plan for completing work within the stipulated time frame.
Reviewing the preparations, Priyank Mishra directed that the Army Day Parade is a highly prestigious national event and, therefore, all preparations connected with it should be completed in accordance with high standards. He gave clear instructions that every task related to the event should be minutely mapped and assigned to the departments concerned so that no work remains unmapped.
Along with this, department-wise responsibilities have been clearly outlined to prevent any duplication in the allocation of work.

As per the work division decided in the meeting, under the parade route and main arrangements, the restoration of Kalibari Road, seating arrangements, spectator arrangements and civil works will be carried out jointly by Bhopal Municipal Corporation and the Public Works Department (PWD) in mutual coordination.
Arrangements related to cultural programmes and tableaux will be completed jointly by ‘Madhyam’ and the Culture Department.
Collector Mishra directed all the nodal officers concerned to ensure that all necessary tenders for the event are issued within the prescribed time limit. Specific working groups have been formed for the smooth conduct of each programme of the event. All the working groups formed will attend the next review meeting with progress reports within seven days.
