CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The State Bank of India Officers’ Association, Bhopal Circle, has achieved an important and prestigious milestone at the national level. At the 105th Executive Committee meeting of the All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC), held in Hyderabad on July 4 and 5, 2026, two senior office-bearers from the Bhopal Circle were entrusted with significant national responsibilities in the organisation.
At the meeting, Sanjeev Mishra, general secretary of the State Bank of India Officers’ Association, Bhopal Circle, was promoted and appointed senior vice-president of the All India Bank Officers’ Confederation. Association president Anil Kumar Shrivastava was also promoted and appointed joint general secretary of AIBOC.
The appointments of the two office-bearers are being seen as national recognition of the unity, trust in the organisation, dedication and years of sustained struggle of nearly 22,000 officer members associated with the State Bank of India Officers’ Association, Bhopal Circle, and various nationalised banks.
Office-bearers and members of the association described the achievement as a matter of pride for the entire Bhopal Circle. They said the success was the result of the organisation’s strong working style, commitment to officers’ interests and collective efforts.
Members congratulated the two newly appointed national office-bearers and extended their best wishes, expressing confidence that under their experienced, far-sighted and effective leadership, the voice of bank officers for dignity, rights and interests would be raised even more strongly at the national level. They also said work related to officers’ welfare would gain new momentum.
Comrade Subin Sinha, president of the AIBOC Madhya Pradesh state unit, said the national-level responsibilities given to the two office-bearers would also provide greater support and strength to the state unit. This would help take forward work related to the security, welfare and interests of officer members in an effective manner.
