CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 79th Independence Day was celebrated in Bhopal Railway Division with great enthusiasm, pride, and patriotism. The main ceremony was held in the premises of the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, where Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Pankaj Tyagi hoisted the national flag and took the salute. He then inspected the impressive parade presented by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and read out the message of the General Manager, West Central Railway, sharing the achievements and performance of the West Central Railway for the year 2024–25.
Extending Independence Day greetings to all railway employees, DRM Pankaj Tyagi praised the officers and staff of Bhopal Division for working together in a spirit of teamwork and achieving remarkable results in revenue generation, employee welfare, safety, security, infrastructure maintenance, and train operations. He emphasized that these accomplishments were the outcome of dedication, duty consciousness, and persistent efforts, and expressed gratitude and respect to all railway personnel.

On the occasion, the Railway Protection Force, along with Scouts and Guides contingents, performed an impressive march-past. Patriotic cultural programs added vibrancy and enthusiasm to the celebrations.
Also present were Anita Tyagi, President of West Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (Bhopal Division), along with members; Chief Project Manager (Gati Shakti) Anupam Awasthi; Additional DRM Abhiram Khare; Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria; Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Vijay Singh; branch officers, other railway officials, and a large number of employees.
