CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A special event is being organised in Bhopal to mark the 150th year of the national song “Vande Mataram”. At the programme to be held on September 1, an attempt will be made to create three world records along with patriotic and cultural presentations. A large number of artists and music lovers are expected to take part in the event.

The highlight of the programme will be a special presentation of “Vande Mataram” through more than 40 musical instruments. Artists playing different instruments will perform together on one stage, presenting the national song in a distinctive style. The organisers aim to convey a message of patriotism, music and cultural unity through the event.

The programme is scheduled to be held at DB City Mall in Bhopal on September 1 from 4 pm to 7 pm. During this period, three separate world record attempts will be made. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the city over the event, and preparations are under way to make it a memorable programme in Bhopal’s cultural history.

“Vande Mataram” has been deeply associated with the Indian freedom movement and national consciousness. Various programmes are being organised across the country on the occasion of its 150th year. The Bhopal event is also an effort to carry forward the same national spirit through music and a collective performance.

The organisers believe that a collective performance with various musical instruments on one stage will not only be an attempt to set records, but will also provide an opportunity to connect youth and the new generation with Indian music and the historic legacy of the national song. The success of the programme is expected to register Bhopal’s name with a special cultural event.
