CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A significant milestone has been added to the development works of the Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency. MP Alok Sharma on Thursday formally inaugurated the newly constructed bridge on the Runaha–Bagsi road. Built at a cost of approximately ₹6.72 crore, the bridge is expected to become a major boost for regional connectivity and ease travel for rural residents.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, MP Alok Sharma said that strengthening infrastructure is a top priority under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. He expressed confidence that the construction of this bridge will greatly benefit local farmers and traders by making transportation of produce and goods easier, thereby accelerating the region’s economic growth.

Berasia MLA Vishnu Khatri was also present on the occasion. He stated that there had been a long-standing demand for a strong bridge on this route, which has now been fulfilled.

On this occasion, BJP District President Teerath Singh Meena also addressed the gathering and discussed public welfare schemes of the government with party workers. BJP Mandal President Rambabu Gurjar, Mogra Sarpanch Dayal Singh Gurjar, along with a large number of local representatives and villagers, were present at the inauguration ceremony.
