CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Musical Deepotsav Celebrations by Bhopal Railway Division Under the guidance of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, the Indian Railway Ticket Checking Staff Organization (IRTCSO) of Bhopal Division organized a musical Deepotsav celebration at the Community Hall, Habibganj Railway Colony, Bhopal.
The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chief Guest Saurabh Kataria, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, along with Divisional Commercial Manager Pankaj Dubey, Assistant Divisional Commercial Managers Dharmendra Kumar Singh and Naval Agrawal. This was followed by floral tributes to Bharat Mata and Goddess Saraswati, and a group rendition of Saraswati Vandana marked the start of the musical evening.
Children from SOS Balgram and the National Association for the Blind delivered heartwarming performances. Visually impaired employees from the DRM office also showcased their talents through poetry, songs, and music. To encourage their enthusiasm, railway officials distributed mementos.
During the event, CTI Aniruddha Soni and SP Sharma were honored with the “Karmyogi Award” for their exemplary work in apprehending a fake vigilance inspector and ensuring appropriate legal action.
The program witnessed significant contributions from Indian Railway Ticket Checking Staff Association officials, including Divisional President PN Sharma, Secretary OP Meena, and Vice Presidents SP Sharma and Hemant Soni, who played a key role in its success.
Speaking at the event, Saurabh Kataria emphasized that such celebrations foster positivity and energy among employees and various sections of society.
The ceremony concluded with the national anthem, leaving the employees and officials of Bhopal Railway Division with a renewed sense of joy and camaraderie. The tireless efforts of the ticket-checking staff of Bhopal Division ensured the event’s grand success.
