CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign-2026, West Central Railway’s Bhopal Division is continuously organising various cleanliness activities aimed at creating clean and healthy railway premises.
As part of this effort, a special cleanliness drive was carried out in different units of the division. Under the campaign, cleanliness target units and garbage-sensitive locations were identified, followed by intensive cleaning, removal of garbage and waste materials, and rejuvenation of the identified sites. During the drive, the condition of the locations before and after cleaning was also displayed.
Special cleanliness drives were conducted at several key locations in the Bhopal Division. These included intensive cleaning and garbage removal work in Habibganj Railway Colony, cleaning of identified cleanliness targets and garbage-sensitive spots in Itarsi Railway Colony, and rejuvenation of the site at CRWS Nishatpura, Bhopal, through deep cleaning and waste removal.
Officials in charge and employees of the concerned units actively participated in the campaign and ensured cleaning of the identified locations. It was also ensured that garbage does not accumulate again at these places after cleaning and that the cleanliness system is maintained regularly.
Through the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign-2026, Bhopal Division is making continuous efforts to increase awareness about cleanliness and maintain a clean environment across railway premises, railway colonies and other workplaces. The objective of the campaign is not limited only to cleaning, but to make cleanliness a part of regular work culture and collective responsibility.
