CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the Seva Se Sankalp campaign, speech and painting competitions on the theme “India of My Dreams” were organised in various schools of the capital, Bhopal. Minister Vishwas Sarang, Krishna Gaur, MP Alok Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai, MLAs Bhagwan Das Sabnani and Rameshwar Sharma, Municipal Corporation Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi, and other public representatives participated as chief guests and encouraged the students. At the events, students showcased their unique talent and progressive ideas linked to nation-building.
The programmes held in different schools began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guests. Addressing the students, the public representatives said, “Students are the bright future of the country and the true architects of nation-building. The contribution of our daughters and youth is paramount in realising the vision of ‘India of My Dreams’. A pledge taken with a spirit of service takes any society and nation to new heights of progress. Only when our youth and daughters are educated, aware and self-reliant will it be possible to build a strong, prosperous and advanced India.”
During the competitions, students used their oratory skills to present their views fearlessly and logically on important subjects such as Atmanirbhar Bharat, cleanliness, social harmony and environmental protection. In the painting competition, students used the brush of their imagination to depict on canvas the beautiful and captivating colours of a strong, modern and prosperous India of the future.
At the conclusion of the programmes, students who performed outstandingly were awarded by the guests present and encouraged for their efforts. Principals, teachers, Municipal Corporation public representatives and a large number of students attended these events. In the end, the school administrations expressed gratitude to the chief guests and all visitors present.
