CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister Chetanya Kumar Kashyap said there would be no compromise of any kind on the quality of development works being carried out under the Bhopal Smart City project. He issued strict instructions to the officials concerned to speed up all these important projects linked to public convenience and the modernisation of the capital, so that citizens can benefit from them within the stipulated timeframe. Minister Kashyap was conducting a detailed review of the works at a meeting held on Tuesday on the progress of the Bhopal Smart City project.
Emphasis on timelines and excellent standards: During the review meeting, Minister Kashyap obtained point-wise information on the construction works and expansion of civic amenities being carried out under the Smart City project. Directing the implementing agencies and officials, he said development works should not only be executed at a fast pace, but full attention should also be paid to technical and structural excellence in their construction.
Bhopal South-West Assembly constituency MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani was specially present at the meeting. Bhopal Collector Priyank Mishra and Smart City Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anju Arun Kumar gave a presentation on the updated status of ongoing projects and future plans.
