CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Tyagi, the direction of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, and with coordination among the Commercial Department team, Bhopal Division earned Rs 9.52 crore from a total of 1,32,224 cases during ticket checking in April and May, the first two months of the current financial year.

These included 63,056 cases of travelling without a ticket, 68,784 cases of travelling with improper tickets, and 384 cases related to unbooked luggage.

In May alone, the ticket checking campaign detected 31,949 cases of ticketless travel, 36,315 cases of improper tickets, and 127 cases of unbooked luggage. From a total of 68,391 cases in May, Bhopal Division received revenue of Rs 4.92 crore.

The drive led to an increase in the income of Bhopal Rail Division and was described as commendable work by the ticket checking staff of the Commercial Department.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria has appealed to passengers to travel only with proper tickets so that they do not face any inconvenience during the journey.
