CNN Central News and Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of World Environment Day Campaign-2026 and World Bicycle Day, various units in the Bhopal Rail Division organised awareness programmes to promote environmental protection and a healthy lifestyle.
In this sequence, a grand bicycle rally was organised at the Nishatpura coach rebuilding workshop campus. The rally aimed to increase awareness among employees and the general public about environmental protection, pollution control and the use of bicycles.
The rally began from the workshop campus, with officers and employees from different departments, sections, branches and training institutes participating enthusiastically. It was taken out from the Administrative Building complex to the Technical Training Institute.
At the beginning of the programme, Assistant Personnel Officer M.L. Meena delivered the welcome address and presented the outline of the event. Thereafter, chief guest and Chief Workshop Manager Praful B. Kohade flagged off the bicycle rally.
At the conclusion of the rally, all participants were honoured for their enthusiasm and participation. On the occasion, Deputy Chief Materials Manager Manoj Kumar Singh, Assistant Works Manager Prashant Nursingpurkar, Assistant Workshop Accounts Officer Shambhusharan Prasad, along with supervisors and employees of various sections and branches, were present in large numbers.
At the end of the programme, the Chief Workshop Manager congratulated the concerned officers and employees for the successful organisation of the rally and wished everyone good health and continued contribution towards a clean environment. Finally, the Assistant Personnel Officer expressed gratitude to all those present.
