Dr. Mohan Yadav, the current Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, is a talented and experienced leader who has achieved numerous milestones throughout his political career. He was born on March 25, 1965, in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. A highly educated individual, Dr. Yadav holds degrees in MBA, LLB, and a Ph.D.
His political journey began as a student leader, actively working with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), where he also served as City Minister of ABVP Ujjain. He has held various roles within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and served as a cabinet minister in the Madhya Pradesh government. His dedicated social and political service has earned him numerous awards and recognitions over the years.
Dr. Yadav was elected as the Chief Minister in 2023, becoming the 19th and current CM of Madhya Pradesh. He represents the Ujjain South Assembly constituency and is widely admired for his contribution to the development of the state and his connect with the common people.
A disciplined volunteer of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Dr. Yadav has established a reputation for his integrity and leadership. He has been a member of BJP’s state executive committee and also served as a member of the Central Committee for the Kumbh Mela in Madhya Pradesh.
What truly sets him apart, however, is his simplicity and infectious laughter. Unlike many high-ranking officials who carry an air of formality, Dr. Mohan Yadav meets people with openness and warmth, often breaking into hearty laughter—a trait that has become his signature across the country. But perhaps his most unique distinction lies in his unexpected rise—someone seated in the third row, suddenly named as the chief servant of Madhya Pradesh. Even he hadn’t anticipated receiving such a huge responsibility in the service of the people. As is often said, Baba Mahakal’s special grace rests on the people of Ujjain, and Dr. Yadav is a living example of this belief.
Recently, at the Global Investors Summit (GIS) held in Bhopal, CM Yadav paved new paths for economic progress in the state, unlocking opportunities for employment and business. Under his leadership, Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a rising economic force.
With vast experience in administration and governance, Dr. Yadav knows how to steer officials and departments effectively. His ability to ensure accountability has brought visible improvements in both governance and public administration.
