CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Birthday greetings and well wishes for South West Assembly constituency MLA Bhagwan Das Sabnani have been pouring in continuously since yesterday. Supporters and workers have filled the constituency with congratulatory hoardings, billboards, and banners.
When we spoke with his supporters to understand their enthusiasm, local voters shared that Shri Sabnani, whom everyone affectionately calls “Bhai Sahab,” is known not only for his composed and sweet personality but also for his work ethic. If something can be done, he’ll say yes, but if it cannot, he’ll simply say no—that’s Bhai Sahab for you.
Several women shared how Bhai Sahab saved 290,000 trees from being cut down in the Tulsi Nagar area, which was slated for deforestation under the Smart Town Planning initiative. His tireless efforts for environmental conservation, including the continuous tree plantation drive under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, have made a lasting impact. On his birthday, we extend many congratulations to him.
Workers also mentioned how Sabnani’s relentless efforts led to the approval of a train for the Rewa region, which started operations last month. We are grateful to Bhai Sahab for his initiatives that have helped us. Bhagwan Das Sabnani, fondly known as Bhai Sahab, has also established committees for raising awareness and providing services in JP Hospital, Katju, and Hamidia Hospital. Recently, the traders of New Market said that the parking problem was resolved thanks to Shri Sabnani’s efforts. His birthday was celebrated at Mans Bhawan.
