CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17, the Bharatiya Janata Party will organise a nationwide Seva Pakhwada and Seva Sankalp campaign. This time, the campaign has also been linked to the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Modi’s public life. The programmes will begin on September 17, and preparations are being made to run the campaign in several states until October 17.
According to the BJP, blood donation camps, health check-ups, cleanliness drives, tree plantation programmes and activities related to public welfare will be organised during the campaign. The party has also planned several activities to reach out to youth and various sections of society. September 17 is planned to be observed as “Seva Diwas” or Service Day. Along with blood donation programmes, the “Aashirwad ka Diya” campaign will also be held that day, under which people have been urged to light lamps in their homes in the evening. In addition, service yatras, school and college programmes and public outreach activities are also planned. The outlines of programmes are being prepared locally in different states. In Madhya Pradesh too, information has emerged that a Seva Pakhwada will be organised from September 17 to October 17.
