Political discussion has intensified in Uttar Pradesh over two separate statements by BJP MLA Nand Kishor Gurjar. On one hand, the MLA has accused some people within his own party of trying to politically finish him, while on the other, he has challenged Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav to undertake karseva.
Gurjar claimed that some people in the party were conspiring against him. He said he would soon expose such people. However, detailed information has not emerged on whose role he has alleged in support of his accusations.
Meanwhile, amid continuing remarks over Lord Shri Krishna and the Krishna Janmasthan in Mathura, Gurjar challenged Akhilesh Yadav. He said that if Akhilesh considers himself a Yaduvanshi, he should openly come out in support of the construction of a grand temple at the Krishna Janmasthan and announce karseva.
The MLA questioned Akhilesh Yadav’s stand on the issue. After his statement, the ongoing exchange between the BJP and the Samajwadi Party over religious and political issues has once again come into discussion.
