CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Bharatiya Janata Party in Maharashtra has intensified its exercise to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level. As part of this effort, Maharashtra BJP state president Ravindra Chavan visited the Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg region, met party workers and discussed the organisational situation.
Chavan called on workers to strengthen the party’s reach down to the booth level and increase active engagement among the public. He stressed strengthening the organisation as well as expanding the party’s support base. His visit is also said to have boosted enthusiasm among local workers.
The BJP state president conveyed the message of working continuously towards the party’s goal of “100 percent BJP”. He appealed to workers to take the schemes of the central and state governments to the common people and make organisational activities more effective.
The visit came at a time when the BJP is focusing on strengthening its organisation in Maharashtra and activating workers for upcoming political challenges. In the party’s strategy, grassroots contact, booth-level strengthening and workers’ participation are being considered important.
