CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News / Agencies: Keeping the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027 in mind, the Bharatiya Janata Party has begun preparing to intensify its public outreach campaign. The party is now working on a strategy to reach people across the state through padyatras and display its organisational strength. As part of this campaign, there is a plan to field several senior leaders, including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP national president JP Nadda and national president Nitin Naveen.
Under the BJP’s strategy, padyatras will be organised in different organisational regions of the state. Through these programmes, party workers will reach villages, towns and urban areas and hold direct dialogue with people. Local issues, schemes of the central and state governments and development works will be prominently placed before the public. The party’s effort is to increase organisational activity before the elections and strengthen workers’ contact with ordinary people.
The participation of senior leaders in this campaign is also being considered important. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may present the government’s development works and achievements before the people, while central and national-level leaders will boost the enthusiasm of workers through organisational meetings and public gatherings.
Through the padyatras, the BJP will also focus on understanding social and regional equations and expanding its reach among different sections. Dialogue with women, youths, farmers, traders and beneficiaries may be a major part of this campaign.
Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, the BJP wants to strengthen its election preparations at the grassroots level through such programmes. However, the detailed schedule of the padyatras and the participation of leaders will become clear after the party’s official announcement.
