CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a massive protest at Bharat Mata Square against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. The demonstration witnessed the participation of party leaders, workers, and local citizens, who raised slogans against the Bangladeshi government.

During the protest, speakers strongly condemned the attacks on the Hindu community in Bangladesh and urged the central government to raise the issue on international platforms. BJP leaders stated that targeting Hindu temples and violating religious freedom constitutes a blatant breach of human rights.

Addressing the gathering, the BJP state president said, “We will not tolerate the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh. The Indian government must take serious action on this issue.”

Discussions also centered around India-Bangladesh relations, with BJP leaders emphasizing the need to pressurize the Bangladeshi government to ensure the safety of minority Hindus.

The event also included an appeal to maintain communal harmony and to strive for justice for people of all religions. Protesters noted that the demonstration was not only in solidarity with Bangladeshi Hindus but also a stand for protecting religious freedom.

At the conclusion of the protest, participants collectively expressed their support for the Hindu community and appealed to the international community to address the issue.
