CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The BJP Scheduled Castes Front conducted a statewide tree planting initiative under the ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ campaign. The campaign was inaugurated by Krishna Gaur, Minister of Madhya Pradesh, and Dr. Kailash Jatav, State President of the BJP Scheduled Castes Front, with a tree planting event held behind Vikram School in Pipliani, Bhopal.

Minister Krishna Gaur welcomed the ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ campaign initiated by the Prime Minister to keep the country and Madhya Pradesh green and to promote environmental conservation. She expressed her appreciation for the state-wide tree planting effort led by Dr. Kailash Jatav and other officials, highlighting the long-term benefits of such initiatives. She emphasized the collective effort to save the environment through planting trees.

Dr. Kailash Jatav, President of the BJP Scheduled Castes Front, stated that the party workers have planted 21,000 trees across all district headquarters and 980 blocks in the state. He mentioned that the party workers are also responsible for the care and maintenance of these plants. Dr. Jatav also participated in tree planting at Atal Park and the Engineering College campus in Dewas and Indore.

During the tree planting event in Bhopal, campaign coordinator Engineer Suraj Khare, Policy and Research In-charge Dr. Pankaj Kumar, and other party officials and workers were present.
