CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Kaushalendra Vikram Singh inspected various polling stations, numbers 91 and 151, located in Putli Ghar, Bhopal North Assembly Constituency (No. 150) on Wednesday. As part of a special intensive review, he conducted a detailed assessment of the work being carried out by the Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
During the inspection, Collector Singh observed the mapping and verification process of the census slips being distributed door-to-door by BLOs for voter list updates. He also reviewed the entries being uploaded on the Election Commission’s online portal. He instructed the officials present to ensure that the area-wise survey of each polling station is conducted transparently and without errors, so that the voter list update is complete and accurate.

Following this, Collector Singh reviewed the status of special revision work at various polling stations in Bhopal North Assembly (No. 150), including stations 95, 101, 111, 115, 119, 121, 129, 131, and 136. He discussed the operation of the BLO app, data entry, and field verification procedures with BLO Sheikh Nazir (Station 95) and Ajaz Ahmed (Station 138), providing them with necessary instructions and guidance.

During the inspection, Deputy District Election Officer Bhuvan Gupta, ARO Dinkar Chaturvedi, K.K. Pandole, and Supervisor Manish Tiwari were also present.
The Collector instructed all officials that while completing the work within the timeline set by the Election Commission, continuous monitoring of the tasks being performed by the BLOs should be ensured. This will guarantee that all corrections and updates are satisfactorily completed before the publication of the upcoming voter list.
