CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A Blood Donation Camp was organized at the Dhanvantari Hospital of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), HDFC Bank, and Red Cross Hospital.
A total of 130 participants, including students, faculty, and staff, actively participated in the event, with 60 units of blood donated. The program was inaugurated by the University Registrar, Prof. Avinash Vajpayee, who highlighted the importance of blood donation and encouraged students to contribute to the noble cause.
The campaign was conducted under the guidance of Dr. O.P. Srivastava and his team from Red Cross Hospital. NSS Program Officers, Gajendra Singh Awasya and Ms. Manisha Verma, provided insights into the significance of blood donation and motivated the students to participate actively.
Numerous students, teachers, and staff members enthusiastically contributed by donating blood. The event aimed to foster a sense of social responsibility and humanity among the students of the university.
Several NSS volunteers, including Atul Verma, Prateet Chandak, Hanusheesh Daheriyal, Mansi, Tabishi, Keshav, Vikas, Anushka, Sakshi, Jharna, Prince Swati, Aakriti, Sheetal, Abhishek, and Vinamr, actively contributed to the success of the blood donation camp.
