CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Special Cancer OPD for Women Organized at BMHRC under Swasth Nari Shashakt Parivar Campaign

On the seventh day of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada under the “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar” campaign, a special OPD for women related to cancer was organized at BMHRC. Around 45 female patients underwent examinations for breast cancer, oral cancer, cervical cancer, and other related conditions. Experts also provided information about the symptoms, identification, and prevention of cancer.

BMHRC’s officiating Director Manisha Srivastava informed that under the Seva Pakhwada, several programs related to examinations, consultations, awareness, and treatment are being conducted, which are also ongoing at health centers. On Wednesday, special cancer-related OPD services were arranged exclusively for women, where along with checkups, guidance was given by specialists for raising awareness.

Significance of Ayurveda and Yoga Highlighted:

At all eight health centers of BMHRC, awareness sessions were conducted on Yoga, Ayurveda, and other AYUSH systems. Patients were advised to adopt meditation, pranayama, naturopathy, and Ayurveda practices for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
