CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Two-Week Skill Development Workshop for Paramedical and Other Staff Concludes at BMHRC

The two-week skill development training workshop organized for paramedical and other staff at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) concluded successfully. The workshop, which began on March 25, saw the participation of a total of 181 staff members from the institute.

The chief guest at the closing ceremony was Professor Ratan Kumar Vaishya, Superintendent of the Regional Institute of Respiratory Medicine, Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, and Director-in-Charge of the Paramedical Institute. He remarked, “The medical profession is still a noble calling, where the spirit of service is paramount. Such training programs not only enhance the knowledge of staff but also make their work more effective.”

On the occasion, BMHRC’s Director-in-Charge Manisha Srivastava also addressed the staff. She stated, “The success of any hospital depends not only on doctors and nursing staff but also on the vital role of paramedical and support staff. Well-trained staff members benefit not only the institution but also the patients and trainee students.”

During the workshop, employees received expert training on crucial topics such as mental health, health communication skills, disaster management, first aid, cyber security, equipment sterilization procedures, biomedical waste management, and basic life support.

The objective of the training program was to equip staff members with timely and relevant skills in their respective fields so they can deliver better patient care and improve the operational efficiency of the institution.
