CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : As part of the special Cleanliness Campaign 5.0 of Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center (BMHRC), a cleaning drive was organized today, Sunday, at Chola Vishram Ghat.
On the last day of Pitru Paksha, the BMHRC team performed community service (Shramdan) at Chola Vishram Ghat with the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, paying collective tribute to the ancestors. In accordance with the guidelines of the Government of India and the institute’s headquarters ICMR, this campaign will continue daily until 31 October 2025, covering cleaning activities at various ghats and cemeteries across Bhopal city.

On this occasion, Director-in-Charge Manisha Srivastava said, “Cleanliness is not just a program, but a continuous commitment. The BMHRC family is promoting cleanliness not only within the hospital campus but also at important community sites, fulfilling its social responsibility.”
The program saw participation from the BMHRC team under the guidance of Senior Manager Devendra Singh and leadership of Sanitation Nodal Officer Hemant Pandey. Around 20 sanitation volunteers along with officials Vineet Sharma, Inder Singh, Bhuvan Rana, and Surendra Thakur were present.
The Chairman of the Vishram Ghat Committee, Deepak Mehta, and Ghat Associate Satish Dhaulpure expressed their gratitude to the BMHRC management and team for their efforts.
